Pawprint – Student Newspaper
Pawprint advisor: Professor Dustin York: 314-529-9455
Pawprint is Maryville’s student-run electronic newspaper. The weekly publication gives students the opportunity to gain practical experience as a reporter, photographer, copy editor, graphic designer, social media practitioner, and web editor.
Opportunities are available for all Maryville students to contribute to each week’s publication, regardless of their major area of study. The experience is especially valuable for students interested in a Communication degree. Pawprint can be added to a student’s schedule for 1, 2, or 3 credit hours – depending on the number of articles written. Students are able to contribute to a number of sections, including: News, Sports, Features, Opinions, Entertainment, Podcasts, and Video Interviews
