A Well-Rounded Education

Biology students at Maryville University can choose from two tracks: General Biology or Biology/Biotechnology concentration, or  pursue a major in Biochemistry or Biomedical Science. You’ll take a core of classes that’s required of all majors and particular classes that are specific to your track. Our multi-faceted approach to a biology curriculum emphasizes ecology, molecular and cell biology and physiology, and leaves plenty of room for you to explore a concentration in the humanities, language or social sciences.
