  How do I join the Alumni Association?

A: Congratulations! When you received your diploma, you automatically became a lifetime member of the Maryville University Alumni Association. There are no dues but excellent benefits!

  What benefits and services are available to me as an alumnus/a?

A: The Alumni Association sponsors numerous programs and offers special benefits and services for graduates of Maryville. Some of our services include career networking tools, alumni directory, volunteer and educational opportunities, enriching special events and programs, and changes to return to campus through events such as Alumni Weekend and Trivia Night.

  How do I order alumni merchandise?

A: The Maryville bookstore, located in the Donius University Center, offers a 20% discount to alumni.

  How do I change my address, name, employment information
with the University?

A: Whenever you move or change jobs, be sure to let us know so that we can continue to send you the Maryville magazine and information on alumni events and other opportunities. The best way to update your address is to send or e-mail your changes to:

  How do I get a copy of my transcript?

A: Alumni can order official transcripts of their Maryville course work for a fee of $5.00 per copy. All requests should be in writing and must include your name, social security number, address where the transcript should be mailed, and your signature. A degree verification service, for use by prospective employers, is also provided. All requests for degree verification must be made in writing on the employer's letterhead and should include your name, social security number and the address or fax number where the verification should be sent. There is no fee for this service. If you wish to obtain an additional copy of your diploma, order forms can be obtained through the Registrar's Office. There is a fee of $40.00 for each additional copy requested. Call 314-529-9370 for more information.
     
  How can I get involved with my alumni association? top menu
A: Volunteer opportunities range from short-term commitments to board membership. To view current opportunities, click here. To discuss upcoming projects and opportunities to get involved, contact the Maryville Alumni Office at (314) 529-9338 or alumni@maryville.edu.  
     
  How do I get career assistance? top menu
A: Maryville's Career Education office can assist you when it is time for a career change. They can review your résumé, help you to identify your skills and interests, discuss networking and following up with your contacts, assist you in preparing for interviews and provide you with information to be effective at salary negotiation. For more information, contact the Career Education office at (314) 529-9375.
     
  How do I make a donation to Maryville? top menu
A: Gifts can now be made on-line. Visit Ways to Give for more information, or contact the office of Development, at (314) 529-9343.
     
  Can alumni use the University Library? top menu
A: Yes – Alumni may access library resources at any time or they may sign up at the circulation desk as a Friend of the Library for a mere $35/year to receive to check-out privileges. All Century II Society members are automatically enrolled as Friends of the Library.  
     
  How can I get information about upcoming alumni events? top menu
A: The best way to stay informed about upcoming events and opportunities for alumni is to provide the alumni office with your current email address. Please provide the Alumni Relations Office with your preferred email address by emailing alumni@maryville.edu. The Alumni web site also includes a continually-updated calendar of alumni activities in our Alumni Events section.  
     
  When is my next class reunion? top menu
A: Each fall, the Alumni Association sponsors class reunions to celebrate each five year graduating class with special emphasis on the 10th, 25th, and 50th honor classes. This reunion is held the last weekend of September. If you are interested in serving on your class reunion committee, contact the Alumni Relations Office at (314) 529-9338 or alumni@maryville.edu

Planning is underway for 2008 Reunions. Mark you calendars now for
September 26-27, 2008!

1958 - 50th, 1963 - 45th, 1968 - 40th, 1973 - 35th, 1978 - 30th,
1983 - 25th, 1988 - 20th, 1993 - 15th, 1998 - 10th, 2003 - 5th.
While these classes are especially honored, Alumni Weekend is for all Maryville Alumni!
 
     
  How can I submit a class note for the alumni magazine? top menu
A: Maryville includes a Class Notes and Transitions section with updates from our 20,000+ alumni. To let us know about your recent promotion, marriage, or birth of a child, use the What's New with You? form to submit a class note. You can also contact the Alumni Relation Office by mail or phone with your class note.
     
  How do I find out who my Class Agent is? top menu

  How can I become a Class Agent? top menu
A: Contact the Alumni Relations Office at (314) 529-9338 or e-mail at alumni@maryville.edu if you are interested in serving as a representative for your class want to assist in keeping your classmates informed.  
     
  How do I get a Maryville License Plate? top menu
A: A modest $25 gift to the Maryville Annual Fund allows you to show your pride and support the University by displaying an exclusive Maryville University logo license plate! When Maryville receives your Annual Fund gift and Maryville License Plate Gift Form, you will be mailed the “Emblem Use Authorization” form in addition to an Application for Missouri Personalized and Special License Plates (Form 1716). To obtain these forms, click here.
