Established in 1981 as the first of its kind in St. Louis, our flexible degree program has helped thousands of adults earn degrees. Our program offers the most undergraduate majors in the St. Louis area. WEC faculty members are respected leaders in their fields and have strong ties to the professional world. Whether you’re starting a degree or finishing one, a Maryville education won’t just change the way you think. It will change the way you live. It all starts with a flexible, 8-week and alternating 16-week format, with classes available on weeknights and on alternating weekends. Six start terms, (Fall I, Fall II, Spring I, Spring II, Summer I and Summer II) allow you to begin your education at the right time – and continue taking courses throughout the entire year. Founded in 1872, Maryville University is a four-year, private university located in west St. Louis County. Ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of America’s Best Colleges in the Masters-Midwest category, Maryville University students may choose from 50 academic programs, including degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Among recent graduates, 82 percent are employed or attending graduate school. More than 16,000 Maryville alumni work and live in the St. Louis region.
