CIA Learning System Overview
The institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association with global headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Fla., USA. The IIA is the internal audit profession’s global voice, recognized authority, acknowledged leader, chief advocate, and principal educator. Members work in internal auditing, risk management, governance, internal control, information technology audit, education, and security.
Prerequisites
Participants should hold a Bachelor’s degree. Those who do not have professional experience in internal auditing will be required to possess work experience in field for 24 months prior to completing certification. Instructor Information
Rhonda Travers, CIA, CPA, has over 20 years of internal audit experience, primarily with Enterprise Holdings (Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company). She has been an Internal Audit Manager since 2000 and completes all types of audits, such as corporate departments and related processes, which now includes all three brands of the company.
Rhonda was an officer of the St. Louis Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors for five years, including President, and is currently a member of the Board of Governors. She has given presentations to local universities and to her department on topics including the COSO audit approach, supervisory methods, communication skills, and financial auditing refreshers.
Rhonda is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Millikin University in Decatur, IL.

- Part II will be held on March 9, 2013 – cost $595
