For each academic year of funding, a student
should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
It is the information supplied by you on this document that is used
to determine your eligibility with some need-based scholarship, all
grants, campus employment and loans (including federally funded
parental loans). The sooner you complete the FAFSA, the higher the
likelihood that you will maximize your funding from all potential
University administered financial aid sources including federal,
state and institutional programs.
For a paper application, call the Financial Aid
Office and one will be provided for you. To apply on-line and save
processing time, use
www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Be sure to list Maryville University code #
002482.
File FAFSA after January 1 for Fall, Spring,
Summer Terms.
In the event that tax returns for the last
calendar year have not yet been completed, estimated amounts may be
used and corrected later if necessary.
Students who have a FAFSA on file with the
federal processor but did not list Maryville on the original
application may add the University by contacting the Federal Student
Aid Program at 1-800-433-3243 or 319-337-5665 and adding Maryville
University’s school code of #002482. You will need your
original Student Aid Report to accomplish this over the phone or
using your federal pin number to add the university online directly.
