Women's studies is a field of scholarship involving a multidisciplinary approach to the study of women's experiences, roles and contributions to society. Most courses in the women's studies program are cross-listed in the humanities and social sciences.




Minor in Women's Studies

 



Requirements for the minor in women's studies are: SOC/WS 251/351: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Women, plus four (4) other WS courses (3-4 credits each), which may include independent study and/or internship courses approved by the Women's Studies Steering Committee for a minimum
of 18 credits.
