Maryville University and the School of Engineering and Applied Science of
Washington University offer students wishing to have
both a liberal arts
background and an engineering degree the opportunity to enroll in the Dual
Degree Program in Engineering
and Applied Science |
This 5-year program enables students to earn both a Bachelor of Arts degree
from Maryville and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science from
Washington University. The first three years are spent at Maryville University
concentrating in the liberal arts. The final two years are spent at Washington
University acquiring specific engineering skills.

The Dual degree option has many
advantages for the student who is considering
a career in engineering. |
| |
 |
Program graduates are “liberally educated engineers”
possessing strong communication and problem solving skills and a broad
background in the humanities and social sciences, as well as a
high-quality technical education. |
| |
|
 |
