Louis B. Baggett started at Maryville in the spring of 2002
and taught ENV297 very successfully. He works in the field of Hazmat
Management. His Master of Science in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry if
from Purdue University. He is a Manager of Corporate Safety for American
Railcar Industries, Inc. |

Dr.
Thomas Bratkowski has been a Professor of Biological Sciences since 1975,
when he received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He is
an expert in the field of invertebrates and is currently researching the migration
patterns of monarch butterflies. |

Edward J. "Ted" Heisel taught Environmental Law and Policy,
ENV460, in the fall of 2004. He received his J.D. at Harvard Law School in
1997. He has worked for a number of law firms and environmental groups. |

Dr. Daniel L. Lehocky started at Maryville in the fall of
2003 and he has taught Introduction to Environmental Science, ENV112, and
Environmental Ethics, HUM475. He has been a supervisor at McDonnell Douglas
and Sierra Club Chapter Conservation Chair. His Ph.D. in Philosophy is from
the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |

Dr. Linda Pitelka is a historian whom everyone in the
programs will have the pleasure of knowing. She is in charge of
Environmental Studies. Dr. Pitelka specializes in American Indian History.
Courses Dr. Pitelka teaches for the program include Environmental History
and History of American Indians. She received her Ph.D. from the University
of Massachusetts in 1994. |

Carol
S. Radford teaches classes including Geology and Ecology at Maryville
University. She received a Master of Science in Environmental Science
from Southern Illinois University in 1983. Her hobbies include horse
and cattle ranching, nature photography, and birding. |

Lawrence C. Rosen, RG, is Senior Principal Geologist at
Shannon and Wilson, Inc. He started at Maryville in the spring of 2004 and
taught Hazardous Wastes and Environmental Health, ENV427. His Master of
Science in Geology is from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. |

Dr. Frank Stary is one
of Maryville University's best and most loved chemistry professors, who deciphers
the mysteries of organic chemistry for students in the Environmental
Science program. He received his doctorate
from the University of Cincinnati, and has been a professor of chemistry
since 1974. |

Dr. Norman Woldow
has been a Professor of Biological Sciences since he received his Ph.D.
from Rice University in 1973. He teaches several classes for the
Environmental Science and Studies programs including the Advanced Biology
Seminar and Instrumental Analysis. |
