A Bachelor's in Science in Rehabilitation Services will provide a
blend of coursework and field experiences designed to provide a
foundation in the purpose, process and skills of rehabilitation
service delivery.
Rehabilitation Services is part of a growing program in the School
of Health Professions. Upon completion of a Bachelor of Science in
Rehabilitation Services, a student can continue their clinical
and educational advancement at Maryville University by applying to
the Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling program.

Early Access
Baccalaureate students who meet the requisite grade point
average and coursework may be eligible for the bridge/early access
program to the MA in Rehabilitation Counseling at Maryville. Please
see a description of the Psychology major with a concentration in
Rehabilitation within the School of Liberal Arts and Professional
Programs (www.maryville.edu/academics/lp/Programs).
This program also offers early access to the graduate program in
Rehabilitation Counseling.

As a graduate, students have the knowledge and experience
necessary to work in a front line position of a community
rehabilitation agency. The program curriculum focuses on a blend of
course work and field experiences designed to provide a foundation
in the purpose, process and skills of rehabilitation service
delivery. Career opportunities for Rehabilitation Services graduates
include: non-profit organizations, state and federal government,
rehabilitation managers, vocational specialists, case managers,
program managers, independent living specialists, protection and
advocacy specialists, residential managers and private for profit
companies.
