Robert Bertolino, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor in
Rehabilitation)
founder of Therapeutic Collaborations Consultation and Training, and an assistant professor in rehabilitation counseling at Maryville University. He is considered an innovator in the fields of counseling, psychotherapy, and youth and family services and is dedicated to creating and promoting respectful and effective approaches that encourage hope, happiness, healthiness, and change in the lives of others. Bob has taught over 200 workshops throughout the United States, Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

Michael Kiener, Ph.D., CRC (Assistant Professor
in Rehabilitation)
has been an assistant professor at Maryville University since 2004 and has worked in the private and public rehabilitation sectors. Michael has degrees in early childhood education, rehabilitation counseling, and counselor education. Currently he is coordinator of the Rehabilitation Counseling program, a member of the ACA task force for professional development, and is a member National Council on Rehabilitation Education and of Maryville University’s Center for Teaching Excellence, where the focus is on action research and the scholarship of teaching and learning. In addition, he has published articles on career decision making, active and dynamic learning strategies, and counseling pedagogy; and has presented at national, state, and local conferences.

Gina Oswald, M.Ed, CRC, PC (Assistant Professor)
is a member of the National Council of Rehabilitation Education, the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association and the Council for Exceptional Children Division on Career Development and Transition. She has 10 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation, having worked in the areas of mental retardation/development disabilities, state vocational rehabilitation and personal preparation. She has presented at national, state and local conferences in the areas of transition youth, employment outcomes and personnel preparation.

Barbara Parker,
A.B.D. CRC, LCPC (Program Director, Assistant Professor in
Rehabilitation)
Ms. Parker is a member of National Council of Rehabilitation Education, American Counseling Association, National Rehabilitation Association and is a member of the Maryville University Center for Teaching Excellence. Ms Parker has over 20 years experience in rehabilitation, having worked in both the public and private sector. Ms. Parker is currently actively involved in consulting and training in the areas of employment outcomes, rehabilitation administration, leadership and staff development.
