Partnerships
Maryville University's School of Education has partnered with St. Louis area schools in a focus on teacher education and schooling. Maryville is a leader in Missouri and nationally in this collaborative effort.

Maryville University is a founding member of the Metropolitan St. Louis Consortium for Educational Renewal, a collaborative partnership for the simultaneous renewal of teacher education and schooling.  The Consortium helps support our continuing work with four partner Professional Development Schools: Clark Elementary School, Parkway South High School, Wilkinson Early Childhood Center, and Roosevelt High School.

Maryville University joined with Harris Stowe State University and these school districts to join the National Network for Educational Renewal in 1993.  We continue to be committed to the Agenda for Democracy that forms the core of the Network's work.

Maryville University continues pursuing additional partnerships with area schools for the mutual benefit of both institutions and the advancement of improved student learning.  The Maryville Institute for Partnerships in Education promotes and supports initiatives that facilitate positive change through partnership development and collaboration.
