Your Complete Solution to Prepare for the Newly Revised Certified Management Accountant Exam

Are you ready to join an elite group of professionals who have advanced beyond the practical accounting skill set?

Are you ready to evolve into a strategic business partner with management-level skills required to maximize value and build quality financial practices into your organization?

CMA CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Globalization and standardization combined with more stringent financial reporting requirements, have resulted in a continuum of change in the practice, rules, regulations, ethics, and execution of managerial accounting and financial strategy in all areas of an organization.  Over the past several years, the role of management accountants and financial managers has evolved significantly.  Today's managerial finance and accounting professionals are internal consultants and business analysts.  They work on cross-functional teams and are involved in strategic decisions.  They are active business partners.

IMA's Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certification Program addresses the needs of managerial finance and accounting professionals as they meet the challenges of the new corporate accounting environment.  IMA has recently updated the CMA Program's "body of knowledge" to reflect the variety of relevant business skills and abilities -- including analyzing, managing, and evaluating business solutions -- that professionals must possess to effectively contribute to the strategic success of an organization today.

By preparing for and achieving IMA's CMA designation, you:

Join an elite group of professionals who have advanced beyond the practical accounting skill set into operations-focused strategists and decision makers who deploy evaluation, critical thinking, and judgment to help their corporations succeed.

Confirm your broad business competency and mastery of management-level skills required to maximize value and build quality financial practices into your organization.

Better position yourself for career advancement and greater earning power: Salary surveys have shown that a certified professional earns approximately 22% more than a non-certified professional (Source: Strategic Finance, June 2004).

Demonstrate your commitment to continued professional development and to upholding the highest level of professional ethical standards.

In today's business marketplace, increasingly rigorous financial reporting standards and regulations require managerial finance and accounting professionals to be experts in cutting edge industry practices.  The Institute of Management Accountants' (IMA) Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Program prepares you for that challenge, help you advance beyond the practical accounting skill set and evolve into a strategic business partner.

Professionals who have earned IMA's CMA designation are relied upon by businesses around the world not only for accounting, financial, and information management, but for the kind of strategic planning and management necessary to successfully position a company in the challenging world of global business.
