The business
administration major is a general business major designed to
maximize the student's flexibility. This program is ideal for
the student who is interested in a major that surveys the field of
business and complements a technical or non-business secondary
concentration, as well as students who are looking for a general
business degree to prepare for a specialist graduate degree.
Due to the nature of its audience, the curriculum for the business
administration major offered in Maryville’s Weekend and Evening
College format varies slightly from the traditional undergraduate
curriculum. The WEC general education requirements retain the same
focus and content but have different course restrictions and credit
hours as affected by the 3-4 credit hour variances. Specific WEC
major or minor requirements can be found in any WEC office.
