"The Academic Success Center at Maryville University was the most professional and hands-on group that I had ever come across. I never thought that faculty and staff within a university could actually care about ME so much. Every single individual who aided me in the Academic Success Center made me feel like I was able to accomplish anything, and they somehow got me over the 'fear' of looking to others for help. I knew that they were always there for me, and I have them and only them to thank for my academic successes, as well as successes outside of the classroom. They truly did instill that confidence in me that I never had before, and I am forever thankful!"
"I don't know what I would have done without the support and guidance given to me by the staff working at the Academic Success Center at Maryville University. They provided tutors for any subject I was struggling in and always went out of their way to work around my class schedule. They have an endless amount of resources on hand, and if they don't have it, they make every attempt to get it or come up with an alternative solution. As a student who struggled academically, it was extremely comforting to know I hard a place to go that I could ask for help without being made to feel stupid or lazy. The Academic Success Center provides a quiet work environment and is full of positive people who welcome anyone who is willing to help themselves. It is the one place I have found that I can be honest about my academic struggles and always know I will walk out feeling better about myself and my college experience!"
