Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX)

Lambda Epsilon Chi is the national honor society founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education.
Lambda Epsilon Chi is the national honor society founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education. There are approximately 94 Chapters throughout the United States with well over 1,000 inductees who have been honored for their outstanding academic achievements

LEX sponsors three scholarships every year. Students are selected from a national writing competition held annually.

Each year Maryville selects those students who meet high academic criteria and cite them for their accomplishments by inducting them into Lambda Epsilon Chi. Specific requirements for induction into LEX are listed at the bottom of this page. These students are recognized through a formal ceremony and the awarding of a Certificate of Induction and a special pin. They are also entered into the permanent records of LEX.

Maryville University graduated its first student in Legal Studies in 1998. Maryville received a charter for a LEX chapter in 2002. Listed below are those students who worked for and gained the honor of induction into LEX.
