Office of Sponsored Programs

The Office of Sponsored Programs provides assistance to faculty and staff who seek external funding for initiatives that advance Maryville University's mission, vision and core values.

What we do:

  • Assist faculty and staff in completing institutional paperwork required as part of the grant-seeking and grant management processes
  • Assist faculty and staff in completing application requirements
  • Compile and maintain standard information and data on the institution and its policies
  • Review and negotiate grant contracts and forward them for further review and signature as appropriate
  • Approve expenditures subject to grant budgets
  • Monitor the distribution of grant funds to proper institutional sources
  • Ensure that financial reports for granting agencies are completed with the Office of the Controller
  • Establish and then monitor university obligations in meeting all legal requirements of grants and accounting management
