17 Faculty, Staff, and Students complete second Maryville CERT class
Several members from the Maryville community completed a seven week C.E.R.T course sponsored by the public safety department.  Participants learned life saving skills such as fire suppression, patient evaluation, and light search and rescue techniques.  The last class was a disaster drill in which all the participants had to use the skills they learned in the class. Below are some pictures from the drill which was held on the Maryville University campus on March 21, 2007.

Public Safety Sponsors Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) Class
Sixty-two faculty, staff, and students, including all members of the Public Safety Department,  completed a seven week C.E.R.T course.  Participants learned life saving skills such as fire suppression, patient evaluation, and light search and rescue techniques.  The last class was a disaster drill in which all the participants had to use the skills they learned in the class.
