Appeal Process

Any person may appeal a citation for any violation. The appeal must be submitted using the Parking Appeal Violation Form, forms are also available in the Public Safety office. Please complete the appeal form and return it to the Public Safety office within seven (7) business days after the citation was issued. Failure to appeal the citation before the listed deadline shall result in an automatic plea of guilty for the offense and the posting of the fine to your account. The appeals board will meet monthly and after all appeals are decided upon, a notice will be sent to the community advising the outcome has been posted at the Public Safety office. Decisions are posted by the ticket number so please retain a copy of your ticket to cross-reference the board's decision. All decisions by the board are final and no further appeals process is available.
