Physical Plant

The Maryville University Physical Plant Department provides Custodial, Grounds and Maintenance Services. We are located in Gander Hall, Room 6 (Lower Level West Corridor).

MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

 

Welcome to the Maryville University Physical Plant Website.  This website offers an introduction and overview of the services offered to students, faculty and staff.  Our services are available to all who use the campus community, physically and electronically, and are designed to be user friendly whether in person or by email.

You may use the Maintenance Work Order System at any time at www.myschoolbuilding.com or call us at 314-529-9304, or you may email me at tbenning@maryville.edu if you have questions regarding Physical Plant operations.

 

PHYSICAL PLANT SERVICES

 

Custodial Services- Email Ernie Aveytia at eaveytia@maryville.edu

  • Event Set-Up/Tear Down, Day/Night/Weekends (Please submit a work order for each setup)
  • Cleaning and maintaining all campus buildings
  • Moving offices (Please submit a work order for each office move.)
  • Dormitory and Apartment Services
  • Banner Placement (Please submit a work order for each event requiring a banner)

Van Reservations - Email Donna Grebe at dgrebe@maryville.edu
            An Authorization and Release - Motor Vehicle Record must be filled out annually order to drive a Maryville University vehicle.  This form is available at intranet.maryville.edu under Physical Plant Forms.

Grounds - Email Phil Campbell at pcampbell@maryville.edu

  • Snow Removal
  • Landscape Planning, Planting and Maintenance
  • Mowing/Trimming
  • Athletic Field Maintenance/Fertilization and Weed Control
  • Sign Placement for Events (Please submit a work order for each event requiring signage)
  • Tree Trimming/Pruning
  • Leaf Removal

  • Heating/Cooling Services
  • Mechanical Systems
  • Construction/Rehab
  • Keys and Locks  - Key Request form is available at intranet.maryville.edu under Public Safety Forms.  The form requires your signature, approval from your supervisor, your Vice President and/or Dean and should be forwarded to Public Safety for approval.  Physical Plant will then cut the key.  This process may take up to two weeks to complete
