Copying & Printing Services
Copying services are available for all Maryville community members.  Complete the copy request form and follow guidelines for material preparation available in the General Services Office in Gander Hall.  Copying can be done from hard copy as well but the use of electronic file can improve the quality of the final product and speed up the turn-around time.  Copyright Act information and Maryville University coping policies are also available in the General Services office.  The Coin copiers accept dimes and quarters and can also be accessed with a value dollar card.  They are located in the Library, Duchesne Hall, and the University Center. A change machine is located adjacent to the copiers in the University Library and Duchesne Hall.  General Services provides basic photo-copying services to faculty, staff and students.

FAQs
Q:  Is personal copying permitted in General Services?

A:  YES. Copying services are available to everyone at Maryville University provided they use the proper procedures to solicit copies and pay cash upon receipt of finished work.

Q:  Can we use ID cards to make copies?

A:  There are a couple of machines on campus that allow use of cards. Two in the library and one in Duchesne hall.

Q:  Are there color copiers available in General Services?

A:  YES. We have a color copier located in General Services. Cost is $0.35 per copy.

Q:  Does General Services maintain the campus walk-up copiers?

A:  Technically all copiers are owned by General Services. However, while the campus has a copier lease, each department has been assigned a "key operator" to be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of their area copier.

Q:  How soon can I get my job after submitting it to General Services?

A:  Turnaround times for a project can be as brief as one hour, however, depending on the job size and complexity, a project could take up to 48 hours to complete. It may be possible to "wait" for your copy job depending on the schedule of General Services at the time of submission.

Q:  Can I do a change of address?

A:  Unfortunately when it is a university, the Post Office cannot sort through our mail to identify individual mail so they will not accept change of address forms from us. Please let your senders know of your change of address.

Q:  Do you have money orders?

A:  No. We do not have a place on campus to purchase money orders. There is an ATM machine on campus in the University Center.

Q:  Does General Services have Fax Services for students?

A:  No.  Students may use the fax machine in the public safety office for a small fee.
