Maryville University to Open New Residence Hall

Maryville Hall

To meet growing enrollment needs, Maryville University has announced it will open a new student residence facility, Maryville Hall, in time for the fall 2010 semester. Maryville Hall will provide 250 students with a safe, comfortable environment featuring a wide array of amenities.

Situated within walking distance of all campus buildings, Maryville Hall is located on Maryville Centre Drive, near I-64 and Woods Mill Road. Renovation of the facility, formerly a Courtyard by Marriott hotel, is currently underway.

"Maryville University continually strives to provide the best possible experience for its students. Maryville Hall will be a state of art residence hall that meets the needs of today's student in every way." said Mark Lombardi, president. "The refurbished hotel facility offers many positive attributes for student housing. The building, adjacent to our main campus, is in excellent physical condition."

Maryville currently provides two residence halls and five apartment buildings for students choosing to live on campus. At 64,744 square feet, the three-story Maryville Hall building features 122 rooms. Single, double and triple accommodations will be available to students, each one equipped with a private bathroom. Onsite parking is also provided.

Other areas of Maryville Hall will include a new cardio fitness center, a sitting room with computers, a meeting room and administrative offices. Amenities include free laundry, WIFI, cable television with premium channels, a snack shop and a cardio fitness center.
